Tyme 2 (launched in 2016), the successor of Tyme - a native time tracking app available for Mac, iPhone, iPad and the Apple Watch.
Now available: Team Tyme. The obvious need to track times together in a team was one of the most received feature requests. Launched in 2018, Tyme can be used by agencies and companies to track their times now.

Tyme is an easy to use time tracking application for freelancers, small companies and everyone who wants to have an overview of their working times. We built Tyme with the intention to make time tracking as easy as possible and focusing on only the important things a time tracking app should do: Track your time and analyze your recorded times. Tyme is a complete rewrite of my old time tracking software 'SimpleTimer 2' and available in the Mac App Store.

Tyme in your pocket, the perfect companion if you're on the go and you still want to track your time. This was one of the most requested things when we released Tyme for Mac. So we built the iOS App. It syncs all data with the desktop app via iCloud and we're constantly improving the app. Happy tracking!

Created just for fun while learning OpenGL, I developed this 'toy' app: Fluid Toy 2 an interactive fluid simulation with a smooth and relaxing musical score. Go with the flow and set the fluid in motion by modifying it in various ways.

While working in a large iOS team at Xing, I was responsible to implement a new registration & login flow and give the profile a new fresh look.
- Tribal Wars 2 (iPad / iPhone)
Almost the whole year of 2013 I worked in a large team at Innogames developing their new flagship: Tribal Wars 2. Tribal Wars 2 is the sequel to Tribal Wars, a medieval online strategy game built by Innogames almost ten years ago. The game will be available on iOS (iPhone & iPad), Android and Web.
- WunderCar (iPhone)
WunderCar is an app that enables people to get a lift by regular people who are driving from A to B within a city anyway. Together with my colleague Raphael, we developed this App for WunderCar. Technically quite stunning because of the realtime communication, heavy use of GPS and push notifications and for the little time we had to get this thing released. Meanwhile you can order a WunderCar in several cities in Germany.
- wywy (iPhone)
For the startup wywy, I developed this neat 'second screen' iPhone app. With this app you can check in to TV shows and earn points and trophies. There are chat rooms and twitter feeds for every show. From a technical point of view, I implemented a few exciting things. For example we're using an open source chat server based on the Jabber / XMPP protocol to create the chatrooms. The twitter and facebook integration was also 'interesting', due to the recent API changes on both platforms. Since the app is able to detect a live running TV show by scanning the audio input for a few seconds, I had to watch a lot of dumb TV shows while developing and testing the app. So this was the hardest part :)
- WHYown.it (iPhone)
Together with Nils and Lars I worked on the iPhone app for the startup WHYown.it. My contribution to this app was rather small, since I supported them for just a few weeks. My main tasks were the messaging tab, the push notification handling and GUI tweaking throughout the whole app. I really like the idea behind this app. If you want to know how it works in detail you can watch this explanation video or read some online articles about it here: Gigaom, Heise, Gruenderszene. - The cee'd
For the agency La Red I developed this iPad magazine for the launch of the new KIA cee'd. The app navigation is composed like other online magazines. So you're able to flip through pages and get into detail by scrolling vertically. Since the iOS SDK doesn't provide such mechanisms, I had to built custom view controller and animation rules. I started developing this app a few days before the iPad 3 was announced. The day it was out, we began switching all design templates to the new retina resolution. Since this app is visually quite intense and we wanted to include a car visualizer, where you are able to view the car in a 360 degree view and choose different colors and rims, the challenge was to keep the size of the app at a reasonable amount and make the scrolling as smooth as possible. The final app weights about 350 mb, which is quite ok for this amount of included images and movies. The app was reviewed by appgefahren recently: Read the article here (german).
Gigalocal is a microjobbing platform which can connect people based on their geo locations. I was aked to implement some new features, such as the 'Gig of the day' section, refining the 'Gig detail' screens and optimize other parts of the app. The most exciting thing during development was to use and explore the MapKit API in detail.
- C-Coupe Drive &
Seek (iPad / iPhone)
Together with my colleague Raphael, we were asked by Jung von Matt, to develop a marketing app for the new C-Coupe. Basically you have to solve different logic puzzles to complete the game. Besides you can watch videos of the new car, find technical informations and post your scores on Facebook. This app is available as an iPhone and iPad app in german, english, spanish, italian, french and russian.
